I first met Sian at the Mayor of London’s first-ever London Made Me pop-up shop last year. I instantly fell in love with her stunning, sustainably-made art and jewellery and snapped up the opportunity to take part in a workshop where I got to learn about how she utilises discarded plastic in her work and is preventing further landfill. With Sian’s guidance, I also got to learn how to make a pair of funky earrings using using a heat press! I’ve instantly become a fan of Plastique and since bought some artwork for my home and commissioned Sian for another piece - inspired by her Valentine’s Day card range! What’s great and unique is that Sian very much involved me in the creative process with the earrings and is doing the same with the artwork… it’s fun and really fulfilling to work on the pieces together! I absolutely love Sian’s inviting approach to making, her passion for the environment and her warm personality that makes you want to learn about each and every design - as there is a story behind them all!

Sian made a huge commission for me. I absolutely love the piece and everyone comments on it when they come round. The use of plastics and re-use and recycling is so clever and the end results are so stunning. Very exciting to see what Sian creates next! Brilliant workshop held by Sian, wide array of materials provided to work with! Explained and demonstrated well - such a lovely facilitator! It pushed me to be creative in ways I've never tried before and I absolutely love that it's all sustainable - it's inspiring seeing what you can create with scrap materials! I'm so glad I was able to attend, one of the best workshops I've done!

"Siân made me a beautiful necklace in electric blue. I commissioned her after seeing her intricate work and designs. It's nice to have something really individual and knowing that they are produced by hand made all the difference to me. I was able to choose my colour and length, as clearly it's not one size fits all when it comes to preferred necklines. The necklace is really delicate, so I would recommend storing it flat to avoid it bending out of shape. Love my Siân Dorman original! Would highly recommend."

“I recently worked with Siân on a photoshoot for some giant flower props she had created. Each flower was unique in colour, size and species of plant. The different flowers were all made from varying materials and handmade to fantastic quality. Siân also adapted the pieces to suit my concept for the shoot so that we had a raincoat, hats and a flower-themed umbrella on the day, as well as the waist-high flower props! Beautiful work!”

"We worked with Siân as part of an outdoor, site specific dance project with x15 dancers with a very quick turn around (Breathe, Bloomsbury Festival 2022).
